Hi guys,
I live in
Bad Kreuzen, a small town in Austria and on the 27th September 2015
the local election took place. I thought you might be interested in the result,
because politics applies to everybody.
Bad Kreuzen
has about 2,400 inhabitants, 1,785 people of these inhabitants are allowed to
vote. The participation is at 82.9 %, so about 1479 inhabitants went to the
election.
The
Austrian People's Party won the election with 75.9 %, so they get the absolute
majority and are allowed to govern alone. The Freedom
Party came in second, this is really surprising, because in the last elections (2009,2003),
the Social Democrat's always came in second. This year the Freedom Party
won the race of the second place with 16.9 % for the first time and the Social
Democrat's came in third with 7,2 %.
This means, that the Austrian People's Party get 20 seats in the local council, the Freedom Party get 4 seats and die Social Democrat's get 1 seat.
What do you
think about this result? Write a comment!
Have a nice
week
